About the Bible

The Bible is the Word of God. It teaches the verbal and plenary inspiration of the 66 books of the Protestant Scriptures, meaning that every word of the Bible is God-given and all parts of the Bible are equally authoritative. It also teaches the doctrine of Sola Scriptura, that is, Scripture alone is the primary and absolute source for all doctrine and practice (faith and morals). With the book of Revelation (the 66th book), the canon of the Bible was completed. God has not given any further written revelation to be called as inspired Scripture.
